The Sac Century Challenge is back this October and we hope you will join us in participating in our eighth annual Ride for a Reason.
Each year, the Rotary Club of Sacramento hosts the Sac Century Challenge to raise critical funds for the Sacramento Children’s Home Crisis Nursery, which assists local children and families facing crises in our community. We hope you will join us this year for a fun and safe way to help local children and families in need.
The Rotary Club of Sacramento is committed to keeping the Sac Century Challenge tradition alive, and this year, we are returning to Capitol Mall, but still prioritizing the safety and health of our participants in light of the pandemic, as well as providing a fun and engaging event cycling enthusiasts. Rotary members and event volunteers will be masked and gloved at all times. In addition, riders are strongly encouraged to wear masks when interacting with Rotary members, volunteers, and fellow riders outside of their ride group.
The 2021 Sac Century Challenge includes a full century, a metric century, a half-century, or a fun ride with the family — on Saturday, October 2.
Registrants will receive great Sac Century swag, too!
Best of all, whether you ride a century or a few miles with your family, you are supporting kids and families served by Sacramento’s only Crisis Nursery. Now more than ever the Sacramento Children’s Home Crisis Nursery needs our help so we hope you will join us and Ride for a Reason!
We encourage all participants to consider becoming a Challenge Champion to help raise additional funds on behalf of the Sacramento Children’s Home Crisis Nursery. Challenge Champions receive incentive prizes as they reach certain fundraising benchmarks, including a Sac Century jersey when they raise $350 for the cause.
The Sacramento Children’s Home Crisis Nursery is essential to our community so we hope you will join us in supporting this vital program.
