Are you interested in learning more about the Sacramento Children’s Home and how you can get involved? Join us for a tour of our Sutterville Road campus and our two Crisis Nurseries, and get an inside look at how we’ve been giving children and families a better tomorrow for 155+ years.
On our monthly tours, you’ll learn about:
- Our mission to open doors to the future by maximizing the potential of children and families
- Our residential and community-based programs aimed at prevention, early intervention, and treatment of child abuse and neglect
- How you can support us as we heal children, educate parents, and build strong families
SCH Main Campus Tour:
We host our monthly main campus tour at 10:30 a.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month. Whether you’re a newcomer to the Sacramento Children’s Home or a current supporter, you’ll come away with an in-depth look at what we do to support Sacramento’s most vulnerable children and families, and what you can do to help!
Crisis Nursery Tour:
Our monthly Crisis Nursery tour rotates between the North and South locations at 10 a.m. on the second Thursday of each month. As part of the tour, you will see how this vital community program provides a safe place for local children and families experiencing crisis. The Sacramento Children’s Home operates the County’s only Crisis Nursery, and the Nursery’s mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect.
