Gifting Grandmas’ Authors’ Luncheon

April 12, 2023

Come travel with the Gifting Grandmas! Clayton Whitehead, of Sports Leisure Vacations, will share popular destinations to visit. The luncheon will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the North Ridge Country Club, 7600 Madison Avenue in Fair Oaks. Check-in and No-host Social will begin at 11:30 am with lunch and program at 12:00 pm. Reserve your ticket by April 3rd online by visiting the reservation site or by downloading and mailing in the reservation form.

Impact Luncheon

The Sacramento Children’s Home is pleased to announce that after taking a few years off because of the pandemic, our Impact Luncheon will return this spring! We look forward to seeing you Thursday, April 20th, 2023 from 12:00-1:00 pm at the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel, 500 J Street Sacramento, California, with registration and networking beginning at 11:30 am. As with our past luncheons, the 2023 Impact Luncheon will celebrate the important work of the Sacramento Children’s Home and the impact we are making in the community, and also recognize the philanthropic commitment of our community partners and the important role they play in helping us fulfill our mission.

Big Day of Giving

The 2023 Big Day of Giving is scheduled for May 4, 2023! The Children’s Home will once again join over 700+ area nonprofits as we strive to raise critical funding to support the vital programs and services we provide for children and families across our community. More information to come!
This year, we have a goal of raising $150,000 to address the critical needs of local kids and families.

Sacramento Century Challenge

The Sacramento region’s premier cycling event to benefit the Sacramento Children’s Home Crisis Nursery returns next year on September 30th! Registration will open in June 2023! The in-person bike ride winds through the scenic Delta wine region. There are four fun and flat distances: 100 miles, 63 miles, 36 miles, and 16 miles. At this time, we plan to have our Post-Ride Festival with live music, great food, and beer and wine vendors!
