Family Rehousing Program

Sacramento Children’s Home launched our Family Rehousing Program in 2025. This initiative is designed to help families in Sacramento County move out of housing instability and into safe, stable homes.

Rooted in the Rapid Rehousing (RRH) model, the Family Rehousing Program offers short-term rental assistance paired with individualized, relationship-centered support. We work alongside families to reduce barriers to housing, strengthen stability, and support long-term well-being. Our culturally responsive approach ensures that services honor each family’s unique experiences, strengths, and needs.

Program services include:

  • Intake and comprehensive assessment
  • Rental assistance and move-in support
  • Housing search and placement
  • Landlord engagement and advocacy
  • Case management and supportive services
  • Ongoing housing tenancy support
  • Education and life skills development
  • Employment support and benefits enrollment
  • Transportation assistance
  • Housing crisis stabilization

Sacramento Children’s Home was selected for this pilot project in recognition of our long-standing commitment to supporting families through compassionate, culturally responsive services. We are honored to partner with families as they work toward stability, resilience, and a stronger future.
