Here at the Sacramento Children’s Home, the health and safety of our clients, staff, families, and community is our highest priority and we have implemented a number of policies and procedures to ensure this while also remaining available to people in need. During these difficult times, we remain committed to providing high-quality services to the at-risk and vulnerable children and families we serve. With this in mind, many of the essential Sacramento Children’s Home programs are still operational and providing critical programs and services to children and families throughout our community.
Because the Sacramento Children’s Home remains available to the clients who need our help even during the Coronavirus pandemic, we could use your help now more than ever to help us ensure the most vulnerable in our community have what they need to stay safe and healthy. We deeply appreciate all of those who have already reached out about how they can support SCH during these times. Make a Financial Donation
Now, more than ever, we need support from community members like you to continue providing everything that the vulnerable children and at-risk families in our region need. Your financial support allows us to continue to provide critical services like our Crisis Nursery, telephone counseling services, urgent response programming and also provide free items that our families need such as formula, baby food, nutritious meals, diapers, wipes, clean clothing, and more.

Supporting our Immediate Needs
We have limited our immediate needs list to only items that are truly essential and often-used. These items can be found here. If you’d like to donate items, the best and safest way to do so would be to order the supplies and have them directly shipped to our North Crisis Nursery at 4533 Padadena Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95821. If you need to deliver them in person, please call ahead between 8:30am and 4:30pm to schedule a drop off. The phone number is 916-679-3600.
