Why I Work At SCH

After 31 years, I still have the same passion for SCH as did when I first arrived. This is due to the children I have the pleasure of getting to see grow and the staff members whom I witness dedicating themselves to these children. I work in an environment where every single person wants to give of themselves and help. And though we all have our ups and downs along with the children, at the end of the day, when a child opens up and talks, confides, allows us to be there for him, experiences his “first..” at SCH and squeals with delight, I cannot imagine a better career. -- Annette J., Director, 24-Hour Programs
