Through our Spring Big Day of Giving Campaign, Sacramento Children’s Home is raising support to help children and families find safety, stability, and care when it matters most.
Why This Matters
Families across our region are facing housing instability, mental health challenges, and sudden emergencies. Children feel these moments deeply, and parents often do not know where to turn.
Because of support from generous donors like you, Sacramento Children’s Home can respond quickly and with compassion.
Your Impact
Your gift helps children at critical moments through our three highest needs programs:
Crisis Nursery
Provides over 4,100 safe stays each year—keeping children safe and families together during a crisis.
Family Resource Centers
Provide over 4,800 home visits each year, strengthening families when they need us the most.
Residential Program
93% of youth say services are helping them make positive changes in their lives.
Your generosity meets families at different points of need:

provides one more home visit for a family in need.
$50
provides a full day of home-cooked meals and snacks for children at the Crisis Nursery.
$100
provides a welcome kit for a child coming to live here, with clothing and personal care items that help them feel safe, supported, and welcomed.
$250
provides a 24-hour safe stay at the Crisis Nursery for a child experiencing a family crisis.
$500
provides nutritious food and meals for a family in need for up to one month, helping them stay healthy and focused.
$1,000
provides one month of individualized counseling and life skills training for youth transitioning from foster care to independent living.
