The SCH Guild originated in 1957 when Helen Merin Ray, a member of the Sacramento Children's Home Board of Directors, saw the need for an auxiliary group. The Guild was formed with one goal in mind: promote and advance the welfare of the Sacramento Children's Home. The SCH Guild is focused on raising funds and support to assist with operational and service expenses. Since its founding, the Guild has raised nearly $2 million dollars for the Sacramento Children's Home!

The Guild meets every other month, from September through May. Annual dues are $50.00, which assists in Guild operations and activities. Even if your time is limited, there are volunteer activities you can do from home, such as writing letters, sending e-mails, or making phone calls.
