24-Hour Programs

Residential Program

The Residential Program provides residential based services to up to 75 children who struggle with anger, depression, significant behavioral problems and emotional disturbance due to childhood trauma. This is one of the few remaining residential program is the region and operated to its maximum capacity. Our goal is to mitigate the barrier behaviors that impede their ability to maintain a permanent living relationship in a family home. The program is building bridges of permanence towards future family living.

Wraparound Program

Wraparound Program is a specialized service that includes the whole family through the development of the Child and Family Team (CFT). It is through the CFT that all decisions that impact the family are made and supported by the participants. Wraparound children are involved in the CPS, Probation or Mental Health systems. The Sacramento Children's Home Wraparound program works toward securing permanency of placement in a family setting for each client whenever possible. The client and family's voice and choice is reflected in a team process that assesses and develops a treatment plan individualized to the family's unique needs in meeting the goal of permanency.
