Programs
Today the Sacramento Children's Home addresses the needs of children — pre-natal to emancipation and programs run the gamut from prevention and early intervention to acute trauma care. Twenty-four hour, education and community based programs work to improve the lives of more than 3500 children and 1800 families annually. The broad spectrum of programs and services means we have professional staff equipped to provide expertise on the full range of developmental issues for children. Wherever possible, programs seek to improve the healthy functioning of families. Over the years many thousands have benefited by their contact with the Sacramento Children's Home and the larger community is better for it.
